An opportunity is available for an Engineering Policy Team Manager accountable to the Head of Engineering Policy.

The post holder will lead a team of highly specialised policy Engineers to ensure technical specifications, policies and procedures within NGED are fit for purpose.

The development, maintenance and review of Company policy.

The development, maintenance and review of a suite of materials that can be used to disseminate policy changes and updates.

Maintaining up to date knowledge on NGED policy.
Translate asset risk into policy requirements
As part of our hybrid working approach this role offers a mix of office and home working. Hybrid working can only be considered once your initial training is complete and subject to business need.

Depending on experience, you may initially be appointed at a lower salary until all relevant courses and training are complete.

Ensuring compliance with License Obligations, ESQCR and HaSaWA within area of responsibility.
Reviewing and recommending for approval Standard Techniques, Engineering Specifications, SOP's. Be an experienced leader with exceptional people management skills and be able to empower and lead through others.

Have a good understanding of how building a positive work culture aligns to the future challenges of the business.

Appreciate how a diverse workforce contributes to the future success of the business.
Valid driving licence

You will have hold an Engineering Level 4 qualification or relevant business management qualification and IOSH or equivalent safety qualification.

E Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration) is desirable.
