Red House Service Station is looking to recruit a Control Room Operator, capable of providing an efficient and professional response to requests for roadside breakdown assistance and vehicle recovery.


The position is office based, with the main role being the planning and scheduling of live breakdown tasks, along with the dispatch (by computer) to our team of roadside patrols and recovery drivers, who use PDA devices to receive and transmit job details.

The role also involves preparing quotes and completing job information with recovery charges, mileage calculations and storage costs.


We are looking for a strategic forward-thinking applicant, with an understanding of Vehicle Tracking/Mapping/Dispatch Software and handling live incidents in a professional manner, with the ability to work on their own initiative.

Training will be given on our Job Management System,
Apex RMS.

(Previous experience using Apex RMS would be a distinct advantage)

37 Hours, over 5 consecutive days:


  • 6:45am to 1pm
  • Tuesday
-
6:45am to 3pm
  • Wednesday to Friday

  • 6:45am to 1pm
- Saturday

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role:
i.e. Recovery Controller/Taxi Dispatcher/Scheduler/Transport Planner.
