Seasonal Support Worker

Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire are recruiting for Seasonal Children's Care Support worker to work in their Children's school holiday club which takes place during most school holidays.


Working with Children & Young People with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities (SEND), the programme runs from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday.

Children are aged 5-17yrs and activities will include supporting with behaviours that challenge, some personal care, communication and sensory needs all in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

Standbridge Community Centre, Wakefield, WF2 7NP

Essential

  • Applicants must be available for an Induction programme starting the week commencing 2nd October 202
  • Applicants must be available to work 3 or more days during each school holiday programme
  • Applicants must be 18 yrs or over
  • Applicants would benefit from having some experience working with children with additional needs although full training will be provided

Additional work may be available during evenings and weekends to support children with additional needs during term time.
