We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our enthusiastic team in Central Beds.
As an HLTA, you will have a key role in supporting our teaching team to deliver top-quality education to our students.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers to organize and conduct engaging lessons, assist students with special educational requirements, and contribute to the overall progress of the school.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in lesson planning and delivery, including preparation of resources
- Support small groups or individual students to provide extra learning assistance
- Help in evaluating and tracking student advancement
- Create and apply techniques to aid students with special educational needs
- Offer pastoral care to students, managing behavior and fostering positive interactions
- Contribute to shaping the school's curriculum and guidelines
- Work together with teachers and colleagues for effective teamwork and communication
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school environment
- Proficiency in the National Curriculum and Key Stage requirements
- Outstanding communication and social skills
- Capacity to work well within a team
- Adaptability and openness to changing conditions
- DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
