Senior Warehouse Supervisor

Job Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse Supervisor, to coordinate our busy despatch warehouse with a total of 11 operatives at our site based at Westfield, Cumbernauld.

In this role, you will ensure a constant, smooth, and efficient operation of the warehouse, whilst maintaining a high level of quality at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and delegate daily and weekly work and equipment requirements to achieve operational and warehouse priorities and deadlines. Identify any problems which occur and react accordingly.
• Ensure daily orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time in order to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Proactively motivate your team to ensure targets and deadlines are clearly understood and are being achieved and act as an immediate point of reference for problems.
• Stock Integrity, including ensuring our systems are accurate, while proactively contributing to reduce and minimise stock waste.
• To continually look at continuous improvements of processes, methods of operating and practices using a structured process.
• Manage the Warehouse Operatives and disciplines in line with company policies.
• Complete weekly/monthly statistical reports as required by Management.
• Motivate staff within a teambased management culture.
• Monitor performance within the Warehouse with the key objective of ensuring continual improvement.
• Ensure Health & Safety is maintained and adhered to within the warehouse in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.

Excellent Interpersonal Skills

• Your role will require you to help manage a diverse team, working closely with Logistic suppliers, couriers, Freight Forwarders, and internal and external customers. Good communication skills are essential.

Dayshift:
Monday to Thursday 08.30 to 17.00, Friday, 08.00 to hours per week) Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business.

Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience
