The Ghost Bus Tours

The most exciting and unique tour company in Edinburgh They are the worlds ONLY comedy-horror theatre show on wheels. On the tour their passengers will unearth Edinburgh's gruesome past led by a ghoulishly entertaining guide.

The tour covers Edinburgh's grave robbers, plague victims, and the ghosts that reside in the most haunted city in Europe.

Explore the city's gruesome past, while admiring its most famous monuments, including Edinburgh Castle, Grass market, Greyfriar's Kirk, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile.

You will also be expected to promote other tours and products.

The Role:

  • Assisting loading and unloading the passengers on the bus
  • Making seating plans to ensure our passengers are sat with their group
  • Proactively selling tickets for all of our tours
  • Handing out leaflets in tourist hotspots
  • Promoting the brand across the city

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Confident communicators who aren't afraid to strike up a conversation
  • Must be able to work outside in all British weather
  • Availability at least 1 day between Monday to Sunday from 3pm9pm
  • Access to a smartphone to access our booking system
  • Previous peoplefacing experience, such as sales, retail, hospitality, bar work, promo or fundraising

Desired:

  • Previous street selling experience
  • Sales experienced desired but not essential as hard work is what counts
