Key Responsibilities:
• Sweep and clean streets and public areas using the necessary equipment and tools provided.
• Collect and dispose of litter to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Collaborate with team members to tackle special projects and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of Edinburgh.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting pedestrians and answering their questions when needed.
• Use various types of equipment to remove weeds, chewing gum, and graffiti.
• Drive relevant vehicles and perform vehicle health and safety checks.
Requirements:
• Honest, punctual candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and progress within the company.
• You will be working in the public eye, so you must be well-presented and carry out duties professionally at all times.
• We are an equal opportunities employer and will not tolerate discrimination in any form.
Working Hours:
• Tuesday to Friday, 06:00-16:45, with 45-minute breaks.
Rate of Pay:
£12.81 per hour.
