Salary: £14.80ph + £60 per sleep (£34,968pa)
Hours: 1 day on (plus sleep), 2 days off - full time

Responsibilities of Team Leader
- Day-to-Day Support of the Children & Young People
- Guiding Residential Support Workers & Senior Residential Support Workers
- Deputise to the Deputy & Registered Manager
- Assist in the development of life skills, emotional resilience, and social competencies in children.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, educators, and social workers.
- Address challenging behaviours and conflicts using effective de-escalation techniques.
- Maintain detailed documentation of observations, progress, incidents, and other relevant information.
- Act as an advocate for the children, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
- Keep regular contact with the children's families or guardians, providing updates on their progress, challenges, and achievements.
Requirements of Team Leader
- Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or Children & Young People's Workforce (essential)
- 18 Months Experience in a Children's Residential Home (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- DBS on the update system (desirable)
Characteristics & Knowledge of Team Leader
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with and understand the needs of children.
- Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
