Five Oaks Care is a residential care service supporting young adults who have a learning disability, autism, and complex needs.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our Senior Residential Support Worker team.

We are situated on the outskirts of Abergavenny overlooking the Brecon Beacons, set in large spacious beautiful surroundings. We currently support 5 people but have space for 6 across two homes on the same site.

We encourage meaningful and creative in-house activities and access many community based activities every day. Our aim is to help each of those in our care achieve greater independence in as many ways as possible, to achieve their personal goals, to be happy, and importantly to have fun along the way


Under the guidance of the Manager/Deputy Manager, Senior Support Workers will lead the team in meeting the physical, social, emotional and spiritual developmental needs of the service users.


Through the provision and oversight of daily routines, activities and social interaction, the Senior will maintain and develop a supportive and stimulating environment for the service users.


The Senior position is a pivotol role and will see the successful applicant assist the Manager/Deputy to carry out duties to ensure the smooth running of the home within the legal requirements.

As the role also functions as a Key Worker a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage.

The role requires the post holder to be able to oversee a shift of support workers, leading by example, and have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar setting, and have or be working towards a Health & Social Care Level 3 Diploma _and_ the following fundamental
