Job Description:
Our Warehouse Operation is an impressive, state of the art, 2.5m square foot Distribution Centre in Shirebrook, and one of the most advanced warehouses within the UK.
Reporting to the Standards and Compliance Manager, you will be integral to our dynamic Automation Team at Frasers Group.
You will leverage your technical expertise to drive process efficiencies through a wide variety of automated and material handling solutions, contributing to our mission to revolutionise our operational systems.
Shift pattern:
Monday-Friday
- Collaborating closely with diverse teams to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Leading the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions
- Evaluating automation tools and techniques, ensuring they adhere to best practices and compliance standards
- Maintaining uptodate policies and procedures for automation initiatives
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to automation systems
- Continuously updating knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in automation, contributing to the team's innovation capabilities
- Conducting regular audits of automation systems
Qualifications:
- Technical background with a strong understanding of automation tools and technologies
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and keen attention to detail
- Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the capacity to identify and implement process enhancements
- Knowledge of compliance standards and procedures in a technical environment is preferred
- HNC/HND or Degree level qualification in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within an automation or related technical field.
