    About the Role


As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy/Non-Medical Prescribing, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our module in Non-Medical Prescribing and the delivery of other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience.

We require the post holder to be a pharmacist with independent prescribing status.


You will be joining the Medical School - at an exciting time in its evolution, when we are looking to grow, enhance, diversify out PG/CPD/KE provision - as part of a collegiate, expanding, diverse, multi-professional team which provides a dynamic and student focused learning environment.


Duties include:

  • Review, development, and modification of the nonmedical prescribing module with a particular emphasis on growing the provision for pharmacists to achieve independent prescribing status.
  • Contribute to clinical teaching in PG Medicine/Medical/Clinical Education as required and commensurate with clinical experience.
  • Excellent leadership, team working, healthcare sector attributes to inform the growth of our PG portfolio.
