Role Description

To provide client facing solutions on both asset and liability side. To manage daily risks and tasks within the team. Providing clients with optimal solutions to manage market exposure and trade profitability. Also to work closely with other departments including distribution and research.

Drive the continued build out of the capabilities of the Portfolio, ETF and D1 risk desk

Ownership of increasing trading volumes in ETFs and instruments traded by the desk across all channels (high touch, automated RFQ trades etc.)

Produce metrics to track volume and revenue growth from this business

Work with global sales teams to increase client flow across these channels

Develop and run strategies to generate positive expected value inventory from flow in these products

Manage relationships with third party ETF RFQ platforms and ETF issuers

Core skills - Required and Preferred

Strong Python skills critical, preference for back testing experience

Experience in technology driven market making

2-5 years ETF trading experience preferred

Preference for experience in emerging/global equity markets

Ability to significantly contribute to technology projects

Ability to work in a global team and with internal partners at the firm with a focus on risk management in each area, notably (but not limited to) regulatory, operational, and market risk
