About the Job:
We are looking for someone to report to the Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate should be diligent, skilled, and uphold high standards for themselves and their team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in a food production setting
- Be hands-on and physically capable of heavy lifting and vehicle inspections
- Supervise and maintain an efficient production line to meet deadlines
- Ensure all team members follow Health & Safety regulations
- Comply with Clean-In-Place (C.I.P) guidelines for machinery cleaning
- Conduct quality checks and record results
- Package finished products with quality control
- Assist with loading & unloading of wagons timely
- Document hourly checks and monitoring
- Complete hygiene tasks to set standards
- Support the production manager in daily tasks
This is a full-time role for a 48-hour week, working 4 out of 6 days with one Saturday shift (rotational when possible). The shifts are 7 am to 7 pm, and the annual salary is approximately £33,400. A company pension scheme is also provided.
