As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and financial aspect of the business, whilst leading a team of staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the FOH staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and providing guidance and support to team members
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to ensure highquality standards are met
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Train new team members on customer service, front of house procedures, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Greene King or an alternative chain pub supervisory role is required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to enforce proper hygiene practices
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members, management, and customers
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
