Key Responsibilities (with the Senior Planner):

  • Develop and optimise transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery and collection of furniture.
  • Utilise route planning software and tools to maximise efficiency and minimise fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate and communicate with drivers to ensure smooth execution of planned routes.
  • Monitor and analyse route performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technology to implement best practices in route planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Route Planner or in a similar logistics role.
  • Proficiency in route planning software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
