As a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE / SHE / OHSE) Controller, you will be visible across the business and will drive positive changes.

Our sites are in an easily accessible location just off Cowpen Road in Blyth, Northumberland.

What you'll do:

  • Using and building on your knowledge and expertise, you will take ownership of HSE improvements across the business with a focus on shop floor operations.
  • Being proactive will come naturally to you as you manage risk & COSHH assessments and implement control measures that will keep our colleagues safe.
  • You will confidently coach colleagues build their HSE knowledge by delivering training and supporting the delivery of safety information.
  • In this full time, sitebased role, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from all areas of the business and the Tharsus Group, who are keen to work with you on how we can make environment a safe place for everyone.

We'd love you to:

  • Have your NEBOSH certificate or learning towards your NEBOSH certificate. Don't worry if this is not the case, as we can support that.
  • Feel at home working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Be fired up to drive and improve health & safety improvements across the business.
  • Be confident on your ability to problem solve and work well under pressure with your focus on ensuring all colleagues are safe whilst at work.
