Playground Games are seeking a Placement VFX Artist to join our Fable VFX team.


We have one opening for a university student to spend a year with Playground Games as an Associate VFX Artist.

You will be embedded in our VFX team and get to work on a live AAA project. You will work alongside the team to design and build particle assets that the studio uses for environment effects.

You should have:

  • Good Houdini simulation skills and an understanding of realtime particle editor
  • Working towards a degree in Game Art, Computer Science or similar
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for games
This is an opportunity to join an established and highly experienced AAA team. It is the perfect first step for a career in the games industry.

This placement would start from Summer 2023 for a period of 12 months.
