About the Role:

This role involves overseeing quality and design aspects to enhance plant performance:


Your Responsibilities:

  • Support quality management and site objectives
  • Contribute to departmental and individual objectives
  • Participate in continuous improvement activitiesn
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
  • Engage with cross-functional teams
  • Provide regular feedback and support coaching activities
  • Lead design changes and NPI/project activities
  • Utilize CAD technology effectively
  • Track emerging technologies and competitors
  • Support new business pursuits
Who we are looking for

Essential:

  • CAD experience
  • Understanding of DFMEA process
  • NPI experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Proficient in lean improvement techniques
  • Experience in creating and enhancing quality control systems
  • PC literacy and familiarity with reporting software

Desirable:

  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC level or equivalent)
  • Automotive sector experience
  • 6-Sigma or other problem-solving methodology training
  • QMS and quality systems experience
