Here at HireGiant, we are looking to recruit a HGV mechanic for one of our well established clients based in,
Birmingham.


This person will be placed on a Temp to Perm contract for a well renowned company in the area that specialises in the distribution of general goods.

This company has operated for around 20 years.

The Role:

The HGV Mechanic will be required to work Monday to Friday on days starting between 09:00am - 18:00pm. The work starts immediately and involves working in a purpose-built, well-equipped workshop for our client. You will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of service and maintenance.

Requirements for this role:

  • Must be competent and confident the correction of running defects to full vehicles overhauls, diagnostics, and anything else needed.
  • Will be required to take on preMOT checks and any repairs required.
  • Over 6 months experience in a similar position with detailed experience as a HGV Mechanic
  • Having an industry recognised qualification is beneficial (NVQ or City & Guilds)

Hours & Pay:


The start times are around 09:00am and the HGV Mechanic will work upwards of 40+ hours over a 5 days period.


The hourly rate for this role is:
£ £22.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE
