About you:


You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive high quality service.

We need someone who is self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Desired but not essential:

  • Food and hygiene certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role however training will be provided

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
  • Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
  • Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
  • Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents

Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
