**Head Housekeeper - Windy Knowe 40 hours per week**

**The role**

As a Head Housekeeper with Springcare, you would take pride in ensuring that all standards of cleanliness, infection control and laundry are carried out to a high standard.

To participate is weekly cleaning schedule as planned by the Home Manager or the Deputy.

To report to maintenance or the Home Manager, any areas which are noted to require repair or restoration, or any equipment faults.

Assist the Home Manager in the stocktaking and ordering of such products.

To participate in laundry or kitchen duties if requested to do so by the Home Manager or the Deputy.

**Supervision of staff**

Supervision and induction of the housekeeping staff within the Home and ensure that they achieve standards stated in the Policy Manual.

Monitor and supervise performance of housekeeping staff, identifying, and training needs and discussing these with the Home Manager.

To ensure that all duties undertaken by all staff are performed to the required standard, and that housekeeping staff contribute to the efficient running of the home and creation of a congenial
