If you're an experienced learning disability/mental health nurse with a background in children's community/respite services at Band 7 level or above, we want to hear from you

You will lead and inspire teams, support nursing strategy, and drive excellence in healthcare delivery. Your role will involve overseeing high-quality, compassionate care, promoting innovative practices, and highlighting the impact of intersectionality on children with disabilities in a person-centered manner.

As a visible and patient leader, you will be responsible for multiple children's services in Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull, working closely with other service leads.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior clinical and operational leadership for children's community learning disability team
  • Lead quality improvement approaches to enhance clinical care standards
  • Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards

You will collaborate with the clinical leadership team to develop strong multi-professional teams and deliver positive clinical outcomes. Joining us means contributing to a positive work environment and helping shape the future of clinical services.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Master's level education or equivalent knowledge
  • Leadership training and commitment to personal development
  • Registered nurse in learning disability, mental health, or children's with extensive post-qualification experience
  • Operational experience in a clinical setting

Experience:

Essential:

  • Post-qualification experience with management responsibilities
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams for operational management
  • Experience in learning disability services and impactful service change

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel for meetings as needed
