  • If so, Buckswood School has an exciting opportunity for you to join our busy Medical Team_
  • The position is a permanent, part time role working one day a week ( Friday) from 9am to 5pm, Term Time only._
  • The duties will include:_
- _Supporting students who are ill or who need practical support with their personal care needs._
- _Ensuring students who are not attending school due to illness/injury, have food, drink and medication given as needed._
- _Ensuring that the medication which has been prescribed has been taken by the student and to give the next dose as prescribed by the nurses or the doctor._
- _Responsible for monitoring the first aid kits across the school and replenishing as needed._

  • Buckswood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau now the Disclosure and Barring Service. You must also have the right to work in the UK with appropriate Visa if necessary._
  • If you have spent more than 3 months abroad in the last 5 years you will need to provide a Police check from the country in which you were in._
