East Riding College is part of the TEC Partnership, which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation.
We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the East Riding College in the role of Learning Support Advisor.
About the role
The HE, English and Maths department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Advisor to join the well-established team.
This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with English and Maths Course Tutors and learners with additional support needs, to provide high quality and responsive support, to help the learners achieve their English and Maths qualification.
Other duties will include:
- Supporting the research, design and implementation of learning resources, that can be used to facilitate delivery of small group and 1:1 interventions
- Working on a 1:1, small group or class support basis with learners in English and Maths provision
- Providing support to all learners in the College's Success Centre
- To be responsible, as directed by their Line Manager, for managing directed private learning (DPL) with groups of students if required.
