An exciting opportunity has arisen to join THT Bristol's Health Promotion Team to play a vital part in supporting the development and delivery of sexual health promotion initiatives for individuals at greatest risk of HIV/ sexual health and reproductive inequalities across the Bristol region.


You will help represent THT on outreach stalls and facilitate short factual presentations on the trust, sexual health, HIV Testing and other HIV prevention activities.

Delivery will be through community engagement approaches that tackle HIV related stigma and discrimination.

Delivering targeted interventions that increase knowledge and awareness of HIV, increase HIV testing and highlight the benefits of early diagnosis, access to care treatment and increase the uptake of broader sexual health services across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.


The post holder will be expected to undertake comprehensive training in order to achieve Assistant Practitioner (AP) competencies, to enable them to be able to offer HIV point of care testing (POCT) for HIV, syphilis and other sexually transmitted infections.


In short, we are looking for someone with good communication skills in order to raise awareness of sexual and reproductive health via face to face outreach, training delivery and social media channels.

Experience of social media and digital outreach are essential.
