We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Inpatient teams as an advisor for Treating Tobacco Dependence (TTD).


This is a fixed-term role, suitable as a secondment, to work with the Clinical Lead, healthcare staff and other team members in providing individualised smoking cessation support to inpatients in a flexible an innovative way.

This post will contribute to tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supporting inpatients to stop smoking.

It focuses on engaging with people whilst admitted as an inpatient and offering smoking cessation support and onward referral to community services to continue their smoke free journey.


The postholder will provide intermediate targeted smoking cessation support to inpatients, using the support of interventions such as CO monitoring and Nicotine Replacement Therapy, along with administration of the smokefree data collection and collation.
