My client based in Fareham, Hampshire is looking for a Chef de Partie.
The Chef de Partie plays a crucial role in food preparation and maintaining consistent standards while assisting chefs in menu development.
You will support the head chef and sous chefs in running the kitchen smoothly, ensuring recipes are followed and food practices meet guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items as per the menu.
- Handle food preparation, production, and service efficiently and on time.
- Promote teamwork and effective communication within the kitchen team and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Exceed standards to drive improvements and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain daily kitchen operational standards.
- Manage a section of the kitchen during service.
- Take on responsibilities across all kitchen operations.
- Prepare reports, including food temperature records.
Position Requirements:
- Experience in managing food preparation and cooking in a kitchen.
- Display excellent diligence.
- Be disciplined, willing to share knowledge, and learn new skills.
- Show strong dedication to the culinary craft.
- Build good working relationships, thrive in challenging environments, and adapt to change.
- Be passionate about your career, a team player, and reliable.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Possess Food Safety Certification.
