Job summary

The Retail Operations Specialist will report to the Retail Operations Manager will play a key role in facilitating the improvement of retail operations, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining high standards across our network of stores. This hands-on role involves collaborating with the Retail Team to enhance efficiency, customer service, and overall store performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the identified improvements in retail operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with and offer support to the Retail team team to streamline processes and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Retail Operations Manager on potential improvements.
  • Ensure all stores adhere to established SOPs and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and updating of SOPs to reflect best practices and operational needs.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Ensure high standards of store cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure consistency in the execution of brand standards across all stores.
  • Provide suppport to a variety of store-related activities inclusing training if required.
  • Support inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and loss prevention
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
  • Prepare regular reports on identified areas of remit.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Retail Operations Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all stores.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and address any issues promptly.
  • Provide direct support to store teams, addressing operational challenges and ensuring seamless day-to-day functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field / equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in retail operations, preferably in a luxury or high-end retail environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail environment.
  • Passion for the fashion industry and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
