Jubilee Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Site Assistant and Minibus Driver to join our friendly staff team.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and self-motivated. There will be a need for good time management, to prioritise duties and work on their own initiative. The successful candidate will take some responsibility for the care and maintenance of the school premises. A knowledge of Health and Safety and a wide range of practical skills are essential to this role as well as being able to communicate effectively.

As this role involves the driving of the school minibus, it is imperative that the successful candidate holds a D1 licence .

Working hours may be subject to variation and call-out at weekends and flexible hours may be necessary from time to time.

This position is all year round based on 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. Core working hours are: 08:00 – 15:30. Flexibility is however requested to meet the requirements of the school operation.

The successful applicant will be paid on a starting salary within Kent Scheme Grade KR4, currently £22,071.
