About the role - you will:
We have an exciting opportunity for an 11-month internship/placement in the Finance organization, commencing in September 2024.

You will:

  • Gain significant experience working in a busy Finance team.
  • Learn and take responsibility for financial close tasks, supporting other team members.
  • Have the opportunity to learn from different teams within the global Finance organization.
  • Work on projects that contribute to the ongoing success of the team, for example designing and implementing process improvements.
  • Gather data for external and internal reporting.
  • Assist with supplier setup and purchasing tasks.
  • Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly and perform account reconciliations for various accounts.
  • Ad hoc projects as required.
  • Any other duties in line with departmental responsibilities.

About you:

  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Work well as part of a busy team and can build relationships at various levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable in learning new things and quickly building an understanding to be able to work independently.
  • Detail orientated, organized and accurate.
  • Consistently demonstrate integrity throughout your work.

Your experience includes:

  • Currently studying a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working as part of a team as well as working independently.

You might also have:

  • Previous experience (academic or otherwise) in finance or accounting is desirable but not essential.
This is a Full-Time position working 39 hours per week, on-site working.

The placement dates are:

  • Starting on Monday, 2nd September 2024 and finishing Friday, 22nd August 2025
