Pi Account Handler

The Role:
You are required to have strong client account management and administration skills and contribute toward the expansion of the business.
You will be required to manage a client portfolio, deal with obtaining insurance quotations, issuing policy documents and convert prospects into new clients.
Responsibilities:
- To provide excellent service to all clients and prospective clients, strictly following FCA rules at all times
- To remain up to date with professional indemnity insurance and commercial insurance products/policies in the market
- Maintain an ongoing continuous professional development programme
- To effectively manage a client portfolio, taking ownership of the sales cycle
- To negotiate insurance cover and premiums with underwriters in line with FCA requirements
- Administrative support; Claims handling, issuing renewal terms, policy documents and midterm adjustments
- To meet an agreed monthly new business target & client retention target
- To work as part of a team with all staff to meet the business objectives
Experience:
You will have had a minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial account handling role with exposure to PI.

Pure Risks, based in Bristol, was founded in 2012 and place Professional Indemnity business to Financial Planners, Architects, Engineers, Chartered Surveyors and other regulated and non-regulated professions.
We are also an appointed representative of Ten Insurance, who perform a back-office function for the business.Although we specialise in Professional Indemnity Insurance, we also offer a full insurance programme placing Directors and Officers Insurance, Office Insurance and all other associated insurance covers relating to professional services firms.
