Main duties of the job

The post holder is required to support in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service to aspecialty team. This will involve waiting list management for Paediatric Epilepsy, Neurology andCommunity Paediatrics, in accordance with the Patient Access Policy, communicating appointmentand admission related information to patients and carers and typing correspondence as post holder will log referrals, make/amend appointments and deal with all queries that come into the post holder will be responsible for sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing information in a timely manor and communicating information, both written and verbal, with patients, staff and role will also include supervisory duties to include Performance and Development Reviews, Return to Work meeting following sickness and co-ordinating leave within the team.
