Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation contracted to a number of market leading automotive manufacturers.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Recruitment Administrator on a fixed-term (6-month, extension possible) contract to join the Stellantis Recruitment Team based in Coventry.

Responsibilities

  • Share CVs and an applicant summary with the hiring retailer to review
  • Proactively gather feedback for the hiring retailer and make arrangements with them to interview
  • Set up interviews on behalf of the hiring retailer, liaising professionally and promptly with both Manager and applicant
  • Gather feedback post interview from hiring retailer and applicant, keeping all stakeholders updated at each step of the process
  • Ensure hiring retailers are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain regular contact with employers to stay updated with their recruitment requirements, maintain regular touch points with each one
  • Ensure job adverts are accurate, effective, and correctly administered
  • Work with recruitment platforms including Indeed and LinkedIn to ensure that we maximise advertising opportunities and that adverts are as effective as possible
  • Manage advert funds to ensure that monies are used effectively and that overspends are avoided
  • Keep all recruitment related notes/records/information up to date so that the Recruitment Manager, colleagues, and stakeholders can understand progress and support as necessary
  • Maintain the recruitment tracker and ensure that it remains up to date at all times
  • Ensure that all departmental policies and procedures are adhered to, including GDPR, and recruitment practices
  • Develop relationships with Managers & the respective employer HR departments to maximise recruitment opportunities
  • Develop relationship with Academy Concierge, Reporting Team & Trainers (anyone with F2F contact with managers) so they can advise on the recruitment service and refer any retailers with staff shortages to the service.
  • Work closely with franchise directors to secure potential future business with group recruitment
  • Create monthly departmental performance reports
  • Stay up to date with the latest recruitment practices, and attend training as required
  • Any other general administrative and recruitment responsibilities as required

Desired Skills

  • Existing recruitment experience, ideally gained in an automotive environment (Highly Desirable)
  • Practical experience of working with recruitment platforms (as an employer/recruiter), including Indeed, LinkedIn, and Reed (Highly Desirable)
  • Head hunting experience (Highly Desirable)
  • Good IT skills and experience of working with MS Office packages, including Excel (Essential)
  • Training administration background (Desirable)
  • Aptitude for social media (Desirable)
  • Motor industry experience (Desirable)
  • Driving Licence (Desirable)

Salary
Up to £24,160, depending on experience

25 Days Paid Annual Leave. Calex Employee Benefits Package (inc. High Street Discounts, Online GP, Welfare Scheme).

Hours of work

  • Full time contract (40 hours a week)
  • Hybrid working available
  • Alternating and varied working hours (this will not always be a 9:00 5:00 job role)
  • Ability to make contact with prospective applicants after work hours
  • Saturday and Sunday options to ensure we have the option to speak to applicants when they are not in work themselves

Location
The main working location will be Coventry (CV3 1ND) + some home working.


There may be an occasional requirement to work from other locations across the UK, including at recruitment shows, at dealerships, and manufacturer training centres.
