The Role

  • Lead and guide newly recruited counsellors through a 12-week onboarding programme
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to support counsellors at a crucial stage in their career
  • Ensure high professional standards in a telephone counseling setting
  • Collaborate with the EAP management team to coach counsellors and oversee programme completion

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding Programme in coordination with the Training and Quality team
  • Provide reports to Senior Counselling Manager and Head of Counselling as required
  • Conduct check-ins and provide coaching to new counsellors during the initial weeks
  • Deliver training modules and workshops to equip counsellors with necessary skills
  • Ensure effective call handling following the Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach
  • Identify learning opportunities and provide relevant training
  • Support counsellors with risk and safeguarding debriefs
  • Conduct call quality assessments and offer coaching and feedback
  • Manage a clinical caseload as part of your responsibilities
