LOCATION


Infleqtion has 6 office locations, operating out of Austin, TX; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; Oxford, UK; and Melbourne, AU.

This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our
Oxford, United Kingdom office.

JOB SUMMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

  • Manage purchase orders (hardware and software) from placing with suppliers until final delivery
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
  • Prepare cost analyses
  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Liaise with end users to ensure correct equipment order specifications
  • Approve supplier purchase invoices on a daily/ weekly basis and code invoices for posting to nominal ledger
  • Ensure best value pricing achieved from multiple suppliers
  • Manage warranty renewals
  • Receive stock from couriers and any equipment returns to suppliers
  • Followup supplier queries

Requirements:

  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 products including Word, Excel and Teams
  • Knowledge of market research
  • Well organised and able to work to deadlines
  • High numerical literacy with good attention to detail
  • Great team player who's willing to go above and beyond to support customers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional customer service skills
