About the team:


We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Audit Manager, to join our expanding and high performing Group Internal Audit (GIA) team.

The role covers the whole of OSB Group and has a focus on delivery, stakeholder relationships and controllingthe end to end internal audit process.


This role offers you the chance to work in a high-profile environment that gives you the opportunity to influence at the highest level.

Our team works in a fast paced, stakeholder focused, environment and has an unmatched opportunity to add value to a fastgrowing FTSE 250 Bank.


The role can be based in Chatham or Wolverhampton with approximately a 30% requirement for travel to the subsidiaries (London, Midlands, South East England and India).

The
Senior Audit Manager is responsible for delivering independent, objective assurance and consulting activity to the Audit Committee, Board and management on the quality and effectiveness of the Group's internal control, risk managementand governance systems and processes.

You will need to be a confident ambassador for internal audit, providing constructive value added input to senior stakeholders on a real-time basis.

As a Senior Audit Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver end to end, risk based audits in line with existing methodologies.
  • Support the annual business and conduct risk assessment process and related annual audit plan.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with management.
  • Write clearly, succinctly and in a wellstructured manner and provide impactful high quality audit reports.

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of from £68,000 and a competitive benefits package

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Have experience of auditing or managing risks, processes and controls associated in financial services.
  • Have exceptional organisational skills to drive the planning and delivery of a suite of audits of varying complexity, ensuring they're high quality and in line with our audit methodology.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Build relationships with colleagues based on trust and collaboration; actively sharing knowledge and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Have completed a relevant professional qualification, such as Chartered Accountant, CFA, FRM, CIA, CISA etc. or industry equivalent
