The post holder will manage and present the quality, compliance, efficiency and timeliness of all data entry and validation responsibilities with a focus on maximizing compliant financial claims, driving continuous improvement, and optimising overall performance against internal and external benchmarks.


This role is remote based, however you will be required to travel to our Medway office once a month, and London at a minimum quarterly for Team Meetings.

Further Summary of Role - Core KPIs - For a Full JD please contact us.nData Management and Financial ClaimsnManage and continuously improve data entry processes and data validation to ensure accurate information is recorded and in accordance with all regulatory guidance, standards and deadlines.nEnsure the data collection process is managed effectively to maximize the monthly financial claim.nEnsure that the funding body data submission cycle is managed effectively for all contracts.nProactively prepare for, manage and execute activities in relation to final submission (R14 period) ensuring that all data and claims are accurately reflected for the current contract yearnBoard UpdatesnAnalyse and prepare performance reports on a monthly basis aligned to the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework to be shared with SLT and Board members (following ILR submission)nEnsure all risks and concerns are raised appropriately and in a timely manner, with suggested response plans to support compliance and financial healthnReporting and Monitoring CompliancenTake a proactive role in the development of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) supporting with data analysis and positioningnEnsure all activities around monthly data reviews forecasting and submissions are implemented and managed.nUndertake and provide all other required reporting requirements and data production to drive continuous improvement and performancenQuality and Operational PerformancenDevelop and drive internal improvements across the provision to support consistency with all administrative and operational processes to ensure contractual compliance, effective audit strategy and in line with internal and external processes.nESFA / AuditingnSupport the Director/SLT leading the audit with all aspects of preparation and evidence gathering for ESFA Audit, and ensuring effective Financial Health around these activities.nEnsure internal audit error rate does not exceed 3%nData Support & SubmissionnProvide appropriate and timely MI, reports, and analysis to support the HOQ&O to manage the contractnWork with the Head of Quality & Operations to provide data and support the management of funding and finances in line with agreed profiles or restrictions.


Qualifications and experience:

nEssentialnMore than 2 years experience with Apprenticeships funding stream managementnMore than 2 years experience with Further Education Funding Audit (Apps)nEvidence of discipline with/and meeting strict deadlines and targetsnWorking with a diverse client base and having a professional approach at all levelsnExcellent Analytical and Data Interrogation Skills with the ability to presentnAbility to work and adapt within a changing environmentnEnglish and Math's at minimum level 2 (GCSE A – C or equivalent or Functional Skills at level 2), or willingness to work towards.
