Your new role:
Southend City Council is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to provide vital support within the Fostering Support Team. Your responsibilities will include delivering assessment interventions, managing complex cases, and ensuring the well-being of children and their families.

In this position, you will need to demonstrate clarity in assessments, reliability in information, and develop realistic action plans. Compliance with statutory requirements and council policies is essential.

What you'll need to succeed:
To excel in this role, you should hold a recognized Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have completed your ASYE. Along with experience in fostering practice and knowledge of trauma-informed care, you must possess supervisory skills and the ability to manage complex caseloads.

Additional requirements:
Prior experience in staff management, supervision, and assessing children in need is highly advantageous.
