Whats on offer

The firm will provide sponsorshipto study towards a professional qualification in tax: the ATT CTAtax pathway.

Your role

In this position youll beresponsible for:

  • Contributing to thedelivery of good quality VAT advice to our clients
  • Completing VAT documentation and other written work asrequired
  • Staying up to date with national andinternational VAT legislation developments
  • Conducting research to stay up to date on currentcommercial and economic developments related to your clientsinterests
  • Developing an understanding of awide range of sectors and any related technical issues or VAT risks
  • Building and maintaining strong relationshipsinternally with colleagues and supporting them on client projectsas needed working closely with VAT Partner and wider team asrequired
  • Correspond withHM Revenue & Customs on relevant matters such as enquiriesinto a clients VAT affairs and work closely with clients to keepthem updated

  • Strongcommunication skills; both verbal and written
  • Anatural curiosity coupled with strong research skills to supportyour understanding of the issues impacting your clients

  • A collaborativeproactive and can do attitude
