Quantity Surveyor
Helston – Office based with site visits across the county.

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a groundworks/civils/surfacing background to join a very successful contractor covering sites across Cornwall.
You will join an experienced commercial team, reporting to a Commercial Director
working with both commercial and domestic clients; predominantly house builders, contractor, and councils on large and small projects that include roads, car parks, foot paths driveways etc.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking team of like-minded professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

  • The role will involve managing sub-contractors to maximise costs, as well as assisting with ongoing estimating duties.
  • Commercial/financial management, valuations, reconciliations, and final accounts.
  • You will be required to report to the head office and travel to the site.
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified with a suitable construction-related qualification
  • Have extensive experience within the construction industry on similar projects.
  • A full driving license will be required,
  • Proficient IT skills in particular Excel.
