Quantity SurveyorHelston – Office based with site visits across the county.PermanentSphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a groundworks/civils/surfacing background to join a very successful contractor covering sites across Cornwall.You will join an experienced commercial team, reporting to a Commercial Directorworking with both commercial and domestic clients; predominantly house builders, contractor, and councils on large and small projects that include roads, car parks, foot paths driveways etc.This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking team of like-minded professionals.Key Responsibilities: * The role will involve managing sub-contractors to maximise costs, as well as assisting with ongoing estimating duties. * Commercial/financial management, valuations, reconciliations, and final accounts. * You will be required to report to the head office and travel to the site.Key Requirements: * Qualified with a suitable construction-related qualification * Have extensive experience within the construction industry on similar projects. * A full driving license will be required, * Proficient IT skills in particular Excel.On Offer: * Salary circa £60k & car/car allowance * Offering ongoing career progressionTo Apply:For an informal discussion please call Kalina on (phone number removed) or click the inviting red button in the upper right-hand corner to apply and embark on this journey with usSphere Solutions are a market leader in the Southwest & Wales construction recruitment sector.
