About us

Overall Purpose:
Maintaining warehouse stock. Picking, packing and despatching goods from warehouse with 100% accuracy.

Hours of Work: 20hrs per week, Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 1.00pm

Rate of Pay:
Will be based on national living wage for initial 6 months. Rate dependent upon age/experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Health, Safety and Environment
  • Ensure compliance with all site HSE policies and regulations, both personally, and also by all members of department including any contract or other personnel that may be working within the department.

Key Functional Tasks:

  • Load/unload delivery vehicles
  • Maintain warehouse in a safe, clean and tidy state at all times
  • Print customer orders
  • Pick customer orders
  • Record items removed from and returned to stock
  • Pack customer orders
  • Book couriers and label orders
  • Record and document transactions
  • Accurately processing customer returns

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Basic numeracy and literacy to national standards
  • Able to undertake basic and routine manual tasks
  • Physically fit
  • Flexible work ethic
  • Judo knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Self motivated and able to work unsupervised for periods of time
  • Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form with all members of organisation, customers and suppliers

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
From £10.42 per hour
