Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Gap Personnel is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at a luxury beauty company based in Avonmouth. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload deliveries safely and efficiently, checking for discrepancies and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Process stock movements, checking batches and expiry dates to ensure accurate storage and retrieval.
  • Maintain the Bulk storage WMS, ensuring all stock movements are up to date and accurate.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist with ad hoc and formal stock takes, ensuring all stock is accounted for.
  • Load carrier vehicles and obtain signatures from carriers, ensuring all necessary paperwork is in place.
Requirements:
  • Previous warehouse experience with hand-held scanners is essential.
  • Computer literacy and experience with WMS systems is required.
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of inventory control principles are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry, with experience in manual handling.
