GP practice in Chesterfield is looking for a Clinical Coder/Medical Secretary to join our established administrative team. We need someone with a sharp mind, eager to learn, willing to listen and wanting to help. Team work, and working independently required in this role.


The main responsibilities are to process and coding the clinical paperwork workflow, discharge summaries, consultant clinic letters in order to assist the doctors.

You must enjoy data entry and have good clinical knowledge of different specialities.

Duties include:

  • Input patient information into System 1 clinical systems
  • Read coding electronic and paper patient related correspondence and results
  • Enter coded information accurately and consistently
We require an individual who is dedicated, to be part of this friendly practice team.

Salary:
£11.00-£11.25 per hour
