Role Overview:

Specific Responsibilities:

• Leadership for the SMT Programming Team
• Support the technical and career developments of the team
• Understanding of Technical documentation including Bill of materials, Drawings and assembly instructions
• Delivery of SMT Programs ontime
• Adherence to processes to support quality and efficiency drives
• Sharing & Reporting of department KPIs
• Lead Problem solving activities where appropriate

Person Qualities:

Essential criteria:

• Minimum 3 years experience in an Electronic/Engineering field
• Computer literate (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with Programming knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL being an advantage
• Proven Leadership & Time Management skills
• Process driven with attention to detail
• Able to understand and work to Industry Standards
• Proven problem solving skills
• A team player with Passion and Drive for Innovation and Quality
• Motivation for learning and knowledge growth

Desirable criteria:

• Prior experience of working within an Electronics or Mechanical Manufacturing/design environment
• SMT/PWB Manufacturing knowledge
