Working Pattern:
Min 17.5 Hours Maximum 22.5 Hours, full year, permanent position


The Trust Board of this fantastic, happy school are seeking to appoint highly motivated and committed site team comprised of a full time Site Manager & a part time Caretaker who are suitably experienced to create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our pupils.

Both positions require an individual with a keen eye for detail and retrospective roles will have a

responsible for the strategic & day to day security, maintenance and cleaning of the school.

Caretaker - Basic Details

and be proactive in your approach to your daily work load, including porterage and cleaning duties.

We require a practitioner who:

  • Has experience and/or understanding of the role of caretaking
  • Skills in relation to a trade (plumber/electrician/joiner)/DIY skills & cleaning experience
  • Has good communication skills and has basic IT skills (IT skills not essential)
  • Is an effective team member and works/communicates well with other staff
  • Is motivated, has a positive attitude and enjoys a challenge
  • Has the ability to work on one's own initiative and to have a goodhumoured enthusiastic approach to the role
  • Has lots of energy and can be flexible within their working day
  • Have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
  • Willing to be a part of the school community
