Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various types of pipes and pipe systems. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine pipe layouts
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes using power tools
  • Weld or solder pipes together using various techniques
  • Assemble and install pipe systems for water, gas, steam, or other liquids or gases
  • Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks or defects
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of pipe systems
  • Proficient in using power tools for cutting, threading, and bending pipes
  • Ability to weld or solder pipes using appropriate techniques
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe dimensions
  • Knowledge of stick welding is preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Benefits:

Pay:
£12.00-£18.90 per hour
