What You Can Expect
As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with our Propulsion Control System Functional Safety Design Squads, playing a crucial role in shaping Jaguar Land Rover's electric future. Your responsibilities will include overseeing product strategy, managing product backlogs, and coordinating the delivery of key features across vehicle programs, covering system design, software implementation, calibration, and verification. You will prioritize product features, develop user stories, and create product roadmaps. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and contribute valuable insights to product development.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Use iterative methods to maximize output value and minimize risk.
- Define the squad's purpose, vision, and outcomes, providing clear guidance and a product roadmap for achieving Sprint Goals.
- Support the Scrum Master in establishing, implementing, and following Agile project management processes.
- Effectively communicate challenges and propose feasible solutions, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Organize system design and verification artifacts within JLR's systems engineering framework, gathering customer requirements for software design.
What You Will Bring
- Extensive experience in leading end-to-end product development processes, including creating product roadmaps, defining requirements, prioritizing features, and managing development processes.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally in complex stakeholder environments.
- Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and involvement in Agile ceremonies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capability to deeply understand stakeholder requirements and collaborate effectively with product management teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
