Buro Happold is looking from a Principal or Associate level Electrical Engineer to join our award winning and dynamic Building Environments team in our Bath office.

The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

This role will see you leading MEP projects, along with inputting to, and assisting with leading the electrical team on projects in the Bath area and further afield, amongst which include residential buildings, research facilities, higher education buildings, mixed use developments, and refurbishments.

We are ideally looking for a versatile candidate who wants to play an active role in technical delivery, project management, mentorship / line management, and business development.

You'll be collaborating with a wider UK MEP team of over 125 Engineers and Technicians, and drawing upon the diverse skills and knowledge of other connected disciplines, including sustainability, building physics, fire engineering, facades, lighting, technology, and more.

You'll be part of something bigger than us all where sustainability, equity, social and performance outcomes matter. Contribute to leading the electrical team and take a project leadership role as required.
Further developing relationships with existing and new clients including contractors, architects and developers.
Preparing technical and financial proposals for new work.

Monitor financial performance of jobs as well as setting up and managing job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure.

Extensive electrical design experience in an MEP consultancy, with experience acting as project leader.
Diverse sector experience, ideally with large scale project experience.
Bachelors or master's degree in engineering
A Bachelor's degree BEng/BSc or Master's degree MEng/MSc in a relevant discipline.
