We are looking for an Optical Assistant for our busy Opticians in Guiseley.

Duties:

  • Listening to patients and give clear and effective advice
  • Advise patients on suitable products and offers
  • Dispensing of various lenses
  • Carrying out prescreening and liaising with the optics team as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Taking measurements of frames ensuring accurate and comfortable fit.
  • Supporting patients with collections and providing thorough aftercare
  • Managing the appointment booking system and ensuring all patients are offered safe and excellent experience.
  • Aid in safe contact lens fitting trials and aftercare
  • Administrative, financial and other supporting roles to ensure the day to day running of the practice.
